Not long ago Google just released it's new web browser.
Google Chrome.
It has got a cool name and even better, it lives up to it.
I have been using it often, it is free for download, and especially as a alternative browser - it is awesome!
Myself. I use FireFox. I have to. Mainly for its functionality and plugins that allow me to do tasks and I could never do even in a single piece of software elsewhere. Such as FTP and screenshots. Hopefully, I will write a bit more about that later because I do use quite a lot of useful plugins that most people don't use. Anyway...
But - What about when you just want to surf the internet for information, need a different browser perspective, need something fast, or gotta just check your email?
Well. Google Chrome fits the bill. It's fast, streamlined, has a great interface, and it just does what it says on the tin.
So, for comparison, it is like a Mac version of the browser Safari, without all the clutter, excess and graphics, which suits me perfect. If you're stuck on a PC - chances are you just may find it a bit of fresh air.
Perfect for a lower end machine or one of these NetBooks/subnotebooks mentioned in a article below. Uses very little interface space and just works pretty fast.
